The Nexus Eazy is a cleverly combined mechanical and biological filter creating an effective, high performance filtration system for all size of ponds. There really is no competition regarding price and what it will achieve.

The Eazy is a stainless steel vessel containing static K1 media, located in the centre of the nexus. Water enters the centre of the nexus and is forced downwards producing primary settlement and removal of larger waste particles. The fine material is then entrapped in the static K1 where it awaits removal during the cleaning/maintenance phase. The mechanically clean water then enters the outside chamber where the Kaldnes K1 ‘Moving bed™ process’ is working. An air pump drives air through an air ring which propels the K1 and produces an oxygen rich environment. The friendly nitrifying bacteria colonise the K1 media in this chamber as it is a perfect environment for them to grow. The biologically clean water then leaves the filter and re enters the pond.

MAINTENANCE–After the system is switched off, air is diverted from the outside chamber to the inside chamber (the Eazy). The static K1 media becomes agitated and is cleaned vigorously. Captured particles are flushed into the central chamber and await removal. The purge valve provided at the base of the nexus is opened and the waste leaves the filter. This process can be repeated until fully clean. The filter is then reverted to normal use. This really is the most efficient, smallest and easiest filter to use on the market.
